Here you see totals for the different
estimate areas. There are subtotals for
various sections. Each labor type has
an hourly subtotal with the labor rate
displayed. Here you can enter the deductible
amount and see the sales taxes calculated.
There are two possible taxes if there
is more than one in your area. They can
be configured on the OPTIONS tab in several
different ways so that only the applicable
items of the job are taxed. Values on
this page are refreshed each time you
browse to it. That insures that any changes
you make for part and labor items entered
are updated.

With
invoices, there is an area for recording
receipts: including payer, check
number, amount, and date. A record
is kept of amounts still outstanding.
If you are unable to collect the
full amount of an invoice, the system
tracks the portion of the collected
amount that is sales tax. You get
an accurate record of how much is
owed as tax revenue. In the example
below, the original tax amount was
$130.88 of a total of $2312.14.
The two recorded payments only total
$2150.00; the tax owing on that
is displayed below as $121.70.
