Here you see totals for the different repair items. There are subtotals for various sections. Each labor type has an hourly subtotal with the labor rate displayed. Sales tax amounts are displayed. There are two possible taxes, so, if your area has a state and a local tax that need to be displayed separately, you can do so. They can be configured on the OPTIONS tab in several different ways so that just the applicable parts of the job are taxed. Values on this page are refreshed each time you browse it. That insures that any changes you make for items entered are updated.

In the example above, the shop has two labor rates; one for mechanical repairs and one for diagnosis. Displayed are the total hours for each rate and the resulting charges. There is an Illinois Sales Tax in effect of 6.5%. It is on Parts and Shop Supplies plus Haz Waste. You see the tax total and the updated Grand Total.
