In the operations (PDR JOBS) tab,
there are two ways to enter you
labor charges. To enter charges
manually, key in the repair on line
1. Then, key in the charge in dollars
and cents. Finally, check any of
lines 3, 4, and 5 to "YES"
if necessary. The system will add
and display the premium charges
for them.
Use the button New Part to add a
part to the RO. A line at the top
of the tab tells you which part
you are working on; in this example
it part 1 of 2 parts.
Use the buttons First, Previous,
Next and Last to move from one to
the next.
Or, use the wizard. In the picture
below, the Right Quarter Panel has
been selected by left-clicking it.
The system then displays the matrix
repairs that have been set up for
that panel on the right. These are
organized first by panel and then
by number and size of dings. In
the example, the tech has left-clicked
#176, Repair Rt Quarter 1-5 Quarter
dents. That automatically puts that
operation in line 1 above and enters
the dollar charge in line 2. All
that is necessary is to set lines
3, 4, and 5 if necessary. The system
comes pre-loaded with over 200 pre-set
repairs. All you need to get started
is to look through those listings
to be sure the dollar charge is
what you want. Then you're ready
to create estimates and invoices
quickly and easily!
